Countdown - only 8 days to Eurocon 2008! It will be a bit crowded in the room we rented, but I think we will have fun anyway.

Getting to the ZKM an RetroGames with Train

You can use the Train 2 (timetable as .pdf) from Karlsruhe HBF - only 5 Minutes to Exit ZKM. We will use the same train to reach RetroGames e.V. (back maybe a taxi...)

The Eurocon 2008 is overbooked ;-)

We have at the moment 36 Attendees, so we can not accept much more (not enough space...). Maybe one ore two will fit.

We will send approval mails to everyone in the next days.

When?

October 10th to October 12th 2008 in the “ZKM Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe” www.zkm.de.

What?

As with every Eurocon the last 9 years you can expect a weekend filled with fun, gaming, talking, trading, party, meeting of old and new friends and much more. See Program for more information.

How much?

The fee for the Eurocon will be 60,- € per person.

Included are the participation, coffee/water, snacks, entrance to the RetroGames e.V., free entrance to the exhibitions of the ZKM, a guided tour to the exhibitions “YouSer” and “World of Games” on Sunday morning, one free table (optional) at the Retro-Börse, transport to/from RetroGames and a lot more surprises... NOT included are regular meals, beer and the hotel.

Signing up

Write a mail with following informations:

Just send us you name, contact address, if you need a (free!) table at the Retro-Börse (or not) and if you want to be on the online-list (banner/link?). Paying will be organised later.

Eating and drinking

We will have free snacks (sandwiches, chips etc.) and free water/coffee in the meeting room.

We will privide he good Black Forrest “Tannenzäpfle” and soft drinks (Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Bionade) in the meeting room (each for 1,50 €)

The museum bar has other drinks, cakes etc. In the ZKM Cinema next to the museum we have some restaurants (pizza, hamburger, french fries etc.) and a nice regular restaurant 50 meters away

Single-Room 51 € per night + 11 € breakfast; Double-Room 54 € per night and +11/22 € breakfast
(free breakfast will be possible in the meeting room too with the coffee and free sandwiches - starting 9:00 h)
You should mail/phone the hotel and tell them that you participate at the Eurocon 2008 meeting of RetroGames e.V.
